Job Description
Lead the detailed design, contract procurement and construction phase of a flood relief schemes.
Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary team, local authorities, stakeholders, and contractors.
Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and quality in accordance with client and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present technical reports, specifications and contract documentation.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is highly desirable.
Minimum of 7 years' experience in civil engineering, with at least 2 years in project management.
Experience in flood risk management, or drainage design, or water infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation, planning processes, and environmental regulations.
Proficiency in project management tools and engineering software (e.g., MS Project, QGIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Driving licence.
