A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking a
Health & Safety Advisor
to join their team on a
18-month fixed-term contract
, supporting a major windfarm project in Abbeyleix, Co. Laois.
Working closely with the Project/Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in promoting and maintaining the highest standards in Health & Safety, Environmental management, and Quality Assurance across the project.
Key Responsibilities
* Review, update, and implement HSEQ policies, procedures, and regulations
* Conduct safety audits, inspections, investigations, and produce reports
* Prepare and maintain Method Statements and Risk Assessments
* Document and investigate incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
* Deliver site inductions to employees, contractors, and visitors
* Plan and coordinate HSEQ-related training
* Maintain HSEQ administration and support compliance with ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 9001:2015
Qualifications & Experience
* NEBOSH OHAS Certificate (held for at least 2 years)
* Environmental/Quality qualifications beneficial
* Experience with ISO 45001/18001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001
* 2+ years in a similar HSEQ/Health & Safety role (civils/construction preferred)
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in MS Word & Excel
* Full driving licence
* Right to work in Ireland
