Services include residential long- and short-term care, dementia care, acquired brain injury care, respite care and home care support.Key Responsibilities:Supervise Accommodation Staff and ensure duties are performed to required standards. Oversee household works, ensuring completion to an acceptable standard. Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in all areas, focusing on detail. Ensure housekeeping activities are documented for inspection. Monitor stock control, audits, and spot-check supplies; generate POs as needed. Supervise requisitioning, storage, and maintenance of cleaning supplies. Assign daily tasks, monitor performance via spot checks, and provide feedback. Perform audits and inspections weekly and report to the Accommodation Manager. Ensure vacant rooms are ready for viewing/admission and cleaned when necessary. Inspect furniture, appliances, and equipment, reporting needed replacements. Ensure staff compliance with policies on attendance, performance, and health & safety. Undertake emergency household duties as needed. Report maintenance issues to the maintenance team immediately. Implement and manage a "green policy."Ensure infection control and laundry guidelines are followed. Supervise laundry processes, including labelling and handling personal items. Monitor linen and towel quality and maintain stock levels. Conduct daily staff huddles and ensure roster coverage. Ensure staff present well with proper uniforms and hygiene. Maintain high visibility and presence on the floor. Induct and train new staff, ensuring competency with machinery and chemicals. Identify training needs and plan development with HR and the Accommodation Manager. Monitor staff attendance, sickness, and incidents; take action as needed with Accommodation Manager and HR Department. Prepare performance reports for new staff, including reviews and improvement plans. Deputise for the Accommodation Manager when required. Be available for emergencies.
