Electrical and Control Engineer Role Overview
We have opportunities for electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation engineers to join our multidisciplinary water utilities team.
The role involves leading the integration of electrical & ICA design with other disciplines.
As an electrical and control engineer, you will work closely with clients and contractors, building strong relationships that enhance the company's reputation and secure further work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing electrical power distribution systems
* Creating control system designs
* Specifying local renewable and backup generation systems
* Developing plant layouts
* Cabling and installation design
* Instrumentation selection
* Lightning protection assessments
* Writing system control strategies
* Factory and site acceptance tests of equipment
Requirements:
* A degree in electrical, electronic, or control engineering or a related discipline
* Chartered status with the Institution of Engineering and Technology or an equivalent body
* Experience in electrical and/or control engineering design/consultancy
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
* Understanding of health, safety, and environmental issues
