Description & SummaryGrant Thornton's Consulting Team are seeking to recruit experienced People and Change Consultants at Assistant Manager, Manager and Associate Director levels within the advisory consulting practice, based out of Dublin and Belfast.This is an exciting opportunity for ambitious and motivated individuals to join our People and Change Consulting team in a growing area of our business.
These will be challenging and fulfilling roles within a team that delivers work for clients in areas such as designing and delivering leadership development programmes, learning and development, organisational design & culture, strategic workforce planning, performance management, change management, stakeholder engagement and communications, and HR Due Diligence.The roles are to contribute to and support the delivery of a variety of client engagements across multiple industries.
Experience across Financial Services, Public Sector and Healthcare experience would be beneficial.
These roles will contribute to project team success on assignments and providing updates to the Director and Partner team.
The successful candidates will be exposed to a variety of jobs and will be given the opportunity to lead on interesting and challenging client projects.
An additional aspect of the roles will be to lead and support the business development initiatives of the team.
The role will provide an excellent opportunity to build a long term and sustainable career in a growing area of our business.Roles & ResponsibilitiesMain responsibilities Leading and supporting on client and people and change projects from initiation to closeEngaging project stakeholders in order to effectively manage client delivery and projectsWorking with clients across Ireland implementing change management programmesPreparation of formal reports and presentationsEnsuring assigned projects and tasks meet required deadlinesConducting industry research and thought leadership covering the key market sectors/target clientsSupport and lead on business development initiativesSupport and preparation of proposals, tendering and pitches for new client work.Skills and ExperienceEducation and CertificationsThe candidate must have capabilities and proven experience in at least two of the following areas:Operating Model and Organisation design and implementationHR consulting, including for example HR Strategy, HR Maturity Assessment, HR Operating Model and Workforce PlanningHR Transformation design and delivery, including familiarity with leading HR products (i.e. technology offerings – SAP, Anaplan, Oracle) on the marketLearning and Development Training Programme design and deliverySkills and Competenciesa minimum of 4-10 years' relevant experience preferably in a consulting or corporate environment working in and / or with large scale organisationsexcellent written skills including the preparation of comprehensive reports and presentationsstrong leadership and people management skills;strong attention to detail and commitment to quality;Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional and client service excellence and developing effective working relationships.Strong multi-tasking abilities and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Experience in leading business development opportunities as well as crafting and responding to client proposals would be favourable.Expertise in C-Suite / Senior Management engagement and communication.An ability to balance big-picture thinking with acute attention to detail.A natural curiosity to explore new business opportunities.A creative, problem-solving mindset and initiative-driven approach.excellent MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.Life at Grant Thornton Reward and benefits: Our reward and benefits are designed to create an environment where our people can flourish.

Flexible working environment:At Grant Thornton we promote a flexible working environment and are currently support a hybrid working model.
We also offer employees the opportunity to avail of a compressed working week the Friday before each Bank Holiday and every week from June – August inclusive.
This allows employees the opportunity to finish at 3pm on a Friday, subject to client approval.
