Excellent opportunity to join a Big 4 tax practice where you will be part of a high-performing team.
Our globally coordinated Tax practice combines exceptional knowledge and experience with local expertise and cutting-edge technology platforms, making us a market leader in Tax services.
You will receive exposure to some of EY's most diverse and exciting clients working with the latest Tax technology solutions in the market.
This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing, busy, talented and hardworking team within our outsourced payroll department.We are currently seeking applications from suitable candidates to join the EY's Tax practice at Senior level.
Key Responsibilities Processing payroll of varying complexity across fortnightly, monthly, quarterly and annual frequencies for an existing portfolio of clientsReconciling payrolls on a periodic basisAssisting in ensuring payroll returns are complete, accurate an submitted on timePreparing specialised payroll reports and journalsProducing ad hoc calculations for explanation purposesDealing with payroll related queriesWork closely with clients to ensure that a high service level and relationship is maintainedAdhere to strong internal controls to ensure best practiceExperience & Qualifications Minimum 2 years prior experience of processing Irish payrollExperience of Quantum/QPOSS payroll softwareAn understanding of Irish payroll in line with the current legislationProficiency in Excel and OutlookAptitude and interest in learning new skillsExcellent attention to detail and analytical skillsStrong technical and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure meet strict deadlinesAbility to analyse problems, design and implement solutions independentlyHighly team oriented approach, with flexibility regarding tasks undertaken and the ability to prioritise a number of conflicting demands to meet exacting deadlines.Good communication skills and confidence in handling queriesPositive attitude and enjoys working within a team environment, with an ability to work independently alsoDiscretion dealing with confidential informationAbout EY As a global leader in Assurance, Tax, Transaction and Advisory Services, we're using the finance products, expertise, and systems we've developed to build a better working world.
