What you’ll be doing
As a Channel Partner Consultant, you will be responsible for the development and execution of sourcing strategies to achieve the best total value for our National Retail and Indirect Sales channels. You will work in an agile way, ensuring we secure the best outcomes for our indirect sales agents and distributors while maintaining the integrity of our global standards.
Manage the seven steps of sourcing, including spend analysis, market research, and RFX management specifically for Channel Partner requirements.
Support Senior Managers in drafting and managing contract‑related documents such as Statements of Work (SOW), Letters of Authorisation (LOAs), and master lease agreements.
Perform detailed financial and business analysis of supplier proposals to support the development of Verizon’s supply base and VCG growth trajectory.
Partner closely with Sales Operations, CSO, Finance, and Legal teams to translate business needs into actionable sourcing requirements.
Execute Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities for assigned channel partners and distributors, ensuring contract performance and ethical working relationships.
Leverage market dynamics and provide benchmark data to help the leadership team mitigate risk and optimise partnership performance.
What we’re looking for
You are a strategic problem solver who pays attention to detail and acts as a change agent. You have the analytical mindset to dive deep into data but the interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
You’ll Need To Have
Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
Experience in Strategic Sourcing or Supply Chain.
Relevant experience in Foundational knowledge of channel partner models, including referral/reseller ecosystems or distributor agreements.
Strong understanding of legal language and terminologies related to contracting.
Proficiency in analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Google Suite) to conduct spend and bid analysis.
Even Better If You Have
Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, CIPS, or CSCP.
Certification in Lean Six Sigma.
Previous experience in a fast‑paced, matrixed global environment.
Experience supporting high‑level negotiations through data modelling and presentation preparation.
Willingness to continuously learn new tools, solutions, and emerging technologies.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
