Role Overview
The Event Operations Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of hotel events, weddings, and banquets. This includes overseeing event planning, team management, and ensuring seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service standards.
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth event operations.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring all details are met as agreed.
* Support team training on service standards, guest care, and food & beverage knowledge.
* Maintain a safe, compliant, and organized work environment.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years experience in a similar events or banqueting management role in a 4-star hotel or equivalent.
* Proven track record of managing weddings and private functions.
* Experience leading teams in high-volume service environments.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
* Legal right to work in Ireland.
