At Apple retail PM team, we are responsible for managing projects for wider retail apps and technologies including but not limited to our global eCommerce platforms that serve millions of customers around the world. We are a team of highly skilled Project Managers, Software Engineering Managers, Engineers, Product Owners, and Analysts based in Cupertino, London, Singapore, and India. The retail PM team in Cork (Ireland) is looking for an exceptional Technical Project Manager with substantial experience in delivering complex software development / engineering projects using Waterfall, Agile, or Iterative methodologies. The successful candidate will be an experienced, proactive, results-oriented project manager with a track record of managing cross-functional transactional application development. A significant part of the role involves close engagement with Project Management, Engineering, and Product Management teams based in the US, London, and Ireland.
Key Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will establish and drive assigned projects, either as the owner or as part of a larger program. Responsibilities include:
* Building strong relationships with business owners and stakeholders to understand current and future requirements.
* Creating project documentation suitable for technical and business audiences.
* Managing IT, offshore development teams, and third-party vendors to deliver software features on time and within budget.
* Contributing to the global retail Project Management team.
* Monitoring project progress and resource utilization across the portfolio.
* Managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring project success in terms of delivery and business outcomes.
* Supporting team members and participating in hiring and onboarding processes.
