Job Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Grade Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, providing specialist services to children and young people with complex disabilities.
The successful candidate will work closely with families and carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and delivering comprehensive assessment and treatment plans for children and young people with complex disabilities
* Delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy interventions, including advice and education for children, families and carers
* Collaborating with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure an integrated approach to care
* Designing and implementing treatment plans, setting appropriate goals and objectives
* Providing clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff members
* Participating in service development and quality improvement activities
Requirements
* BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
* CORU registration or eligibility to register with CORU
* Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, with paediatrics and experience working with children with complex disabilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with other professionals
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Experience in clinical supervision and leadership is desirable
* Full driving license and access to a car is essential
