As a Site Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating various records and databases. You will work closely with subcontractors to gather the latest documentation, including training records, safety statements, and insurance certificates.
The role also involves monitoring site training records and liaising with the Safety Officer regarding any discrepancies. Additionally, you will assist with obtaining Safety Data Sheets from suppliers of materials as required.
You will be responsible for recording and presenting expenditure to date for analysis by Engineers, summarizing expenditure against specific suppliers and purchase orders, and presenting findings to the Engineers. You will also update the procurement register weekly and manage and update the Contracts Register as needed.
Furthermore, you will manage multiple price competitions using specifications and supplier lists provided by Engineers and manage delivery dockets.
Required Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Site Administrator, Site Clerk, or Document Controller role within the construction industry is required. Experience in data entry and administrative support, with a keen eye for detail, is essential.
Proficient in MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook) is also necessary. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to liaise professionally with stakeholders at all levels, are required. Proven ability to work effectively across multiple teams and support functions is also important.
Finally, capable of managing multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
