Your Role: Trainee BER Assessor
Are you passionate about energy efficiency and sustainable building practices? As a trainee BER Assessor at Horizon Group, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and improving the energy performance of buildings. Your daily responsibilities will include:
* Conducting thorough Building Energy Rating (BER) assessments.
* Performing energy audits and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
* Providing expert advice and tailored recommendations to clients.
* Collaborating with our skilled team to deliver top-notch services.
What You Bring to the Table
We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable professional with a passion for energy efficiency. The ideal candidate will have:
* A strong understanding of energy efficiency regulations and standards.
* The ability to conduct comprehensive energy audits and assessments.
* Familiarity with building construction, energy systems, and sustainable practices.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and DEAP software (preferred).
* Certification as a BER Assessor (preferred).
* A degree in Building Surveying / Engineering or a related field (preferred).
