Weve an excellent opportunity for a 6 month initial contract, with significant extension potential, for a hands-on IT Infrastructure & Data Centre professional to support both day-to-day operational activities in a live data centre environment and the construction of a new pharmaceutical manufacturing site. Prior experience building Data Centre / IT Infrastructure in an environment complying with GMP standards is required for this role. The successful candidate will have experience deploying enterprise scale IT Infrastructure as part of a large construction programme where collaboration between multiple vendors is key. Awareness around MEP Systems and how they impact on the deployment of Data Centre / IT Infrastructure would be very advantageous. Were looking to speak to contractors with pervious experience in large Data Centre builds who are comfortable across switch & access point setup; structured cabling & patching, rack mounting and hardware setup; Server BIOS configuration & diagnostics and a very good understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, segmentation). S/he will have good knowledge on BICSI Class F3 standards, ISO, or BS cabling frameworks and be competent reading and marking up Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) or red-line drawings. Experience on Cormant DCIM software would be an advantage. This role is based in Ireland and you must have an EU/UK passport to apply.
