Role: Customs Clearance Agent Location: North Dublin - Dublin 15 Salary: €35k - €38k Role Requirements: Prepare and process customs documentation for import and export shipments. Ensure all customs clearance procedures are followed in compliance with relevant legislation. Communicate with customs authorities to resolve any issues that arise during the clearance process. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to provide timely updates on shipment statuses. Verify and check shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading. Liaise with freight forwarders and carriers to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of goods. Maintain accurate records of customs documentation and ensure all records are up to date. Stay informed about changes in customs regulations and always ensure compliance. Candidate Requirements: Previous experience in customs clearance, l Strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures, especially in relation to import/export in the EU. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in relevant customs software. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
