We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our growing civil engineering team in Kildare.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environment
Implement and uphold the company's Safety Statement and HSQE Management System.
Prepare and deliver RAMS, SPAs, and toolbox talks; ensure all operatives have completed inductions and required permits.
Conduct a minimum of one HSQE inspection per month using PowerApps, ensuring all follow-up actions are closed promptly.
Manage environmental controls, waste permits, and spill prevention to minimize site impacts.
Quality Management
Ensure all works meet design specifications and quality standards; rectify any defects promptly and secure client approval.
Raise and record NCRs for non-conforming works to capture lessons learned and promote continuous improvement.
Programme & Delivery
Plan daily site operations, manage plant, equipment, and subcontractors, and contribute to short-term (look-ahead) programs.
Track progress against the project schedule, identifying and addressing potential delays or variations.
Commercial & Reporting
Monitor productivity, control overtime and material waste, and be aware of cost impacts linked to delays or inefficiencies.
Maintain accurate daily site records, including diaries, labour/plant returns, and progress reports for submission to the Site Agent or Project Manager.
People & Stakeholder Management
Lead, supervise, and mentor site teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and site documentation.
Maintain professional communication with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
Proven track record in managing site safety, quality, program, and cost performance.
Completion of a Site Safety Supervisor course (or equivalent).
Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates.
Full, clean Irish driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland.
Competence in preparing RAMS, SPAs, and conducting PowerApps inspections.
