Position: Junior Relationship Manager
Location: Bray, Co. Wicklow
Reports to: Senior Relationship Manager / Practice Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Junior Relationship Manager to join our growing accountancy practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to build a career in client relationship management within the professional services sector. You will play a key role in supporting our clients, ensuring they receive excellent service, and assisting in the smooth running of day-to-day client account management.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a first point of contact for client queries, providing timely and professional responses.
* Support the onboarding of new clients into the practice, including setting up on BrightBooks and other internal systems.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
* Assist in preparing and sending client communications, reminders, and documentation.
* Coordinate with the accounting and tax teams to ensure deadlines are met.
* Support senior staff with client meetings and follow-up actions.
* Monitor client accounts in BrightBooks and assist clients with queries related to the platform.
* Contribute to improving client service processes and internal organisation.
Skills & Requirements
* Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
* Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
* Experience with BrightBooks (or similar accounting software) is desirable.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop in the role.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in an accountancy practice or professional services environment is an advantage, but not essential.
* Business, Finance, or related degree
* Part Qualified Accountant or someone about to start Qualification Process
