Job Description
Our client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial aspects of a major residential development project in Nenagh, North Tipperary. The successful candidate will work closely with the project team to ensure timely delivery and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, review, and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasts.
* Oversee tendering, procurement, and subcontractor package management for residential construction works.
* Monitor project costs, valuations, variations, and change orders.
* Liaise closely with the Project Manager, Site Team, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain accurate cost control.
Requirements:
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* 24 years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally on residential or housing development projects.
* Strong understanding of budgets, procurement, and contract administration.
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and cost management/reporting tools.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a project team and manage multiple commercial priorities.
Salary and Benefits
