Project Manager (Solar PV) We are seeking a Project Manager (Solar PV) to support the delivery of solar energy projects involving the installation of photovoltaic systems at water and wastewater treatment facilities nationwide.
This role offers the opportunity to represent the 'end user' and oversee the delivery of work on nationally significant renewable energy infrastructure projects within the water sector.
Remote working is available; however, candidates must be based in Ireland, as occasional travel to project sites and client offices will be required.
Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of Solar PV projects from design through construction, commissioning, and handover Manage projects in accordance with statutory, regulatory, and client governance procedures Review and check contractor designs and technical submissions for compliance with project requirements and industry standards Coordinate with contractors, consultants, utility providers, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery Monitor programme, budget, risk, and quality, providing regular progress updates to stakeholders Attend site meetings, inspections, and progress reviews as required Support procurement activities and contract administration Prepare technical reports and project documentation suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences Assist with commercial decision-making and change control throughout project implementation To be considered for this Project Manager (Solar PV) role, you will have: A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline Experience within the Solar PV industry, either on-site or in design role Knowledge of the renewable energy sector and experience working on similar Solar PV projects Proven project management experience Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly Commercial awareness and the ability to make informed recommendations throughout the project life cycle A full, clean driver's licence If this Project Manager (Solar PV) role is of interest, please apply via the link provided.
