Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef De Partie for a full-time on-site role located in Cork. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within their specialty section, assisting the head chef and sous chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food hygiene, and maintaining quality in all food preparation. Other tasks include managing inventory, training junior staff, and collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen
* Excellent knowledge of culinary procedures and food safety standards
* Strong cooking, plating, and presentation skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring consistency and quality
* Teamworking skills and the ability to assist in training junior kitchen staff
* Flexibility and willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Culinary school diploma or relevant certification is preferred
