Job Description
A RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational medical device client in Galway for a fulltime on-site role on an initial 12 month contract.
The RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER will support the design, development, analysis, troubleshooting and provide technical skills during research and/or product development, reporting to the Product Development Manager.
Role of this position
1. Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots and provides technical skills during research and/or product development.
2. Designs studies to investigate specific life science questions within field of expertise.
3. May be involved in product research and development and/or clinical trials.
4. Translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
5. Bachelors Degree (Level 8) in a relevant Science Engineering or other technical discipline.
6. 2-3+ years' relevant experience or placement/intern in a medical device organization.
