Job Description
As a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the repair of devices returned to our workshop by customers. Your primary duties will include providing technical assistance to customers, field engineers, and the sales team, as well as communicating with customers via telephone, email, or face-to-face where necessary.
* Provide technical support to customers (both technical and non-technical), field service engineers, clinical support, and the sales team.
* Attend internal and manufacturer's training courses, which may require travel outside of the country annually.
* Liaise and communicate with suppliers to resolve problems or report incidents/issues requiring manufacturer input.
* Manage stock and perform administrative tasks.
* Be responsible for completing tasks allocated within the workshop team, following processes and procedures recommended by the original manufacturer.
* Ensure all activities are recorded accurately on our Service Management system.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a third-level qualification in biomedical engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, or applied science. Additionally, you should have good aptitude for electronic circuits and soldering techniques, proficient computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
