Job Title: Site Manager
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to develop and bring added value to their career within a dynamic construction company delivering complex projects.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise the construction on site
* Manage all day-to-day onsite activity
* Maintain site diary recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keep detailed notes of all site activities
* Support the project manager in delivering the project to the highest quality & completed on time
* Manage and motivate site teams
* Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards
* Implement the Safety Management System on site
* Implement the Quality Management System on site
* Work to an agreed programme and plan future works to avoid delays
* Plan, maintain and control the financial administration of all construction work to attain maximum cost effectiveness
* Requisition materials required on site in time and to the correct specification
* Attend various meetings to ensure efficient communication of all issues affecting day to day running of the site
Requirements:
* 7+ years site management experience (with main contractors)
* Hold relevant Construction, Engineering or Trades qualification
* Demonstrated ability to see projects through from concept to completion
* Previous Experience Working for a Main Contractor
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Technical and practical knowledge of the building industry
* Excellent written and oral presentation skills
