Job Title: Cleaning Supervisor
Location: Limerick based with Nationwide cover
Reporting to: Cleaning Service Manager
Overall Purpose of the Job
The Cleaning Supervisor will join the central Cleaning Department of Apleona (HQ) to assist in providing an efficient and effective cleaning service. Responsibilities include overseeing cleaning operations, ensuring quality, health and safety standards, staff training, and coordination. The role involves leading daily operations and liaising professionally with Contract Managers and client representatives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensure smooth running of cleaning services in line with SLAs and Service Specifications.
2. Supervise and investigate the quality of cleaning services at client sites, assisting the Cleaning Service Manager.
3. Assist in supervising cleaning staff, including workload allocation, monitoring performance, and ensuring productivity and quality control.
4. Conduct site cleaning audits.
5. Control and monitor the use of cleaning materials and equipment, arranging repairs or replacements as needed.
6. Perform stock checks on equipment and materials.
7. Organize and deliver induction and on-the-job training for cleaning staff.
8. Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and maintain documentation using company systems.
9. Monitor training progress and maintain competency records.
10. Support recruitment of cleaning staff in collaboration with the Cleaning Service Manager.
11. Organize relief/holiday cover for cleaning staff.
12. Authorize and record staff absences.
13. Report breaches and incidents.
14. Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Proven experience as Cleaning Supervisor.
* Robust knowledge of cleaning procedures and protocols.
* Working knowledge of MS Office.
* Willingness to travel within Ireland to support cleaning accounts.
* Flexibility for the role.

* Excellent communication skills for meetings and liaison with contract parties.
* Strong organizational and management skills.
* Motivational and leadership qualities with good problem-solving skills.
* Team player with initiative.
* Full clean driving license.
Qualifications and Experience
* BICs training or working knowledge is an advantage.
* Experience with time management systems for payroll verification.
