Staff Manufacturing Engineer

This is a permanent contract with full benefits.
The position is based in Cork, Ireland.
The role is part of the Neurovascular business area.
You will be working on-site.
As a Staff Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop and optimize manufacturing processes for advanced neurovascular medical devices used in stroke and aneurysm treatment.
Responsibilities:
* Sustain and own manufacturing processes within value streams for Neurovascular products.
* Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address issues.
* Deliver continuous improvement projects focused on OEE, yield, and scrap reduction.
* Execute process and equipment changes under a quality system.
* Support process validation and maintain a validated state.
* Partner with cross-functional teams to improve equipment uptime and throughput.
* Analyze key performance metrics and drive improvements to achieve operational excellence.
* Contribute to audit readiness and CAPA closure.
* Train and mentor technicians and operators on process changes.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Biomedical Engineering.
* Minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
* Proven expertise in continuous improvement and problem-solving.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing documentation and change control.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
