Support Role in Disability Services
Enable Ireland makes a real difference to the lives of children and adults with disabilities in Ireland.
* Provide support services to children and families attending the centre while working as part of an interdisciplinary team.
* Offer pool attendant duties, lifeguard services in the hydrotherapy pool, and assist therapists during group and individual sessions.
* Assist with the provision of therapy services to children attending the centre.
The role involves planning and leading groups for service users of various ages. To be successful, you will need:
Essential Criteria:
* Possess a relevant health skills QQI Level 5 qualification (formerly FETAC) having achieved associated minor awards in Physiotherapy Assistant Theory and Practice or Occupational Therapy Assistant Theory and Practice at Level 5 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).
* Hold an Irish Water Safety Lifeguard qualification or RLSS Lifeguard qualification, or commit to obtaining this within six months of employment.
