Health and Safety Officer Shannon, Co Clare This job will suit an EHS Technician looking for a hands-on role they can make their own.2+ years experience in a similar role required.
Full on site training will be provided The EHS Technician will have strongtechnical knowledge and excellent communication skills to help drive safety culture and support day-to-day EHS operations on site.
Job Purpose The EHS Technician will update and implement EHS documentation, assess and prevent workplace risks, deliver training, be involved in audits, manage contractor safety, support incident investigations and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
This person will oversee hygiene-related activities, organise exposure monitoring campaigns, and carry out routine inspections and measurements.
The EHS Technician will have the autonomy to stop or restart processes when safety or environmental protection is at risk.
Success in this role means improving site safety performance and reducing exposure risks.
