Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Shunter Driver to join our team. As a Shunter Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers, trucks, and containers within the depot.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Manoeuvring vehicles safely within the yard or depot.
o Coupling and uncoupling trailers while ensuring all safety procedures are followed.
o Positioning vehicles at loading bays, docks, or designated areas for loading/unloading.
o Assisting HGV drivers with parking and trailer swaps when required.
Requirements:
* A valid driving license - Category CE.
* A valid Digi Tacho card.
* Fully compliant with CPC regulations.
* Knowledge of safe vehicle manoeuvring, coupling, and uncoupling trailers.
* A good understanding of health and safety regulations.
