IT Search is partnering with one of Ireland's most respected electronics manufacturers to recruit an
Automation Engineer
for their Shannon campus.

Base pay and location
This is a full-time, onsite role in Shannon.
Starting salary:
€70,000 plus bonus, pension, and health insurance

The Role
Design and develop advanced control systems for custom automation and test equipment.
Program PLCs/HMIs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and integrate robotics, servo drives, and vision systems.
Provide technical expertise across design, build, debug, and commissioning phases.
Drive compliance with safety standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
The Person
Degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
Proven experience in controls design, PLC/HMI programming, and robotics/motion system integration.
Skilled at reading and producing electrical documentation.
Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills.
