Your New Role
You will lead a team of experienced accountants overseeing a portfolio of clients, managing workflow, and liaising with clients from our Cork City office. Key responsibilities include:
* Team Management: Oversee a small team of accountants with their own client bases.
* Financial Statement Preparation: Complete accounts for SMEs, individual contractors, and large companies.
* Tax Compliance: Prepare Revenue returns and assist with Revenue audits.
* Client Relations: Manage diverse queries and requests from clients.
* Liaison: Collaborate with the Tax Department for timely Return submissions.
* Company Secretarial: Ensure timely submission of Company documents.
* Mentorship: Assist and mentor junior staff members.
* Assignment Completion: Meet internal and external standards and deadlines.
* Relationship Building: Foster strong client relationships.
Requirements for Success
To excel in this role, you must be a Qualified Accountant (ACA Chartered, CPA, ACCA) with Irish practice experience. Strong communication skills are essential for managing accountants. Ambition to progress, a desire to learn, and an ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment are also desirable.
