About the RoleWe are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician with strong technical expertise in industrial and process plant environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in industrial/process facilities.Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical systems, control panels, motors, and power circuits.Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.Install and commission electrical equipment including MCCs, VSDs, and motor controls.Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.Maintain accurate records of electrical work, inspections, and maintenance performed.Participate in planned shutdowns and preventative maintenance programs.Qualifications & ExperienceNational Craft Certificate (Electrician) or QQI Level 6 - Advanced Certificate in Electrical.Minimum 3–7 years of experience in an industrial or process environment (e.g., manufacturing, mining, petrochemical, or food processing).Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, MV installations, instruments, motors, and automation equipment.Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical specifications.Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and electrical safety practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work in demanding environments.Why Join UsCompetitive salary and benefits.Stable, long-term employment with opportunities for skill development.Exposure to complex industrial systems and projects.Supportive and safety-driven work culture.Job Type: Full-timePay: From €27.14 per hourExpected hours: No less than 39 per weekWork Location: In person
