General Maintenance Operative
Occu Services is currently seeking an experienced General Maintenance Operative to join our Facilities Team. This is a hands-on, varied role responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of apartments and common areas across the Dublin area.
We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and well-organised individual with a strong can-do attitude. As this is a resident facing role, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out daily maintenance tasks assigned by our Scheduling Coordinator team.
* Carpentry repairs including laminate flooring, door and lock replacements, window restrictor repairs and adjustments, hinge replacements etc.
* Minor plumbing works (taps, wastes, shower trays, replacement toilet seat etc.)
* Minor electrical repairs (lamp and switch replacements, smoke detector replacements).
* Ensure all apartments and common areas are maintained to the highest standard.
* Maintain strict adherence to health & safety procedures at all times.
* Remain flexible and willing to undertake new or varied tasks as required.
Experience required:
* Valid Safe Pass.
* Manual Handling certification.
* Full clean driving licence.
* Fluent in English (spoken and written).
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a caretaker/handyman or similar maintenance role.
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach to work.
