Job Description
* To clean as appropriate all surfaces, furnishings and fittings using the specified equipment and cleaning products.
* To maintain sufficient supplies of cleaning materials and consumables relevant to the working area and ensure that they are stored safely and securely at all times.
* To use, maintain and ensure the safe storage of cleaning equipment and to report defects to the appropriate person.
* To provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.
* Set up tables, chairs, and other lounge furniture and arrange them appropriately.
* Clean and sanitize toilet cubicles, showers, tables, counters, and service areas regularly.
* Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
* Maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and cooperation.
* Be aware of COSHH regulations and use appropriate protective equipment when using chemicals.
* Adhering to dress code policies. Demonstrate excellence.
* Adhere to health & safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe environment.
* Follow proper hand hygiene procedures and maintain personal cleanliness.
* To treat your team members as you would expect to be treated.
* To co-operate with all team members and undertake duties in the cleaning areas as requested to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered at all times.
* To assist and share knowledge and experience with team members as required.
* To report any accidents or near misses to your Supervisor as soon as they occur.
* To ensure compliance with all instructions relating to the use and storage of materials/equipment necessary for cleaning tasks.
* To complete training courses as required.
* To rigorously follow the location cleaning schedules.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or busy setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Friendly and approachable demeanor, with a genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service.
* Ability to work well under pressure and handle customer complaints effectively.
* GCSE education or above.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating a cooperative and positive attitude.
* Willingness to learn and progress.
* Be honest and trustworthy.
* Team player.
* Respectful.
* Flexible and adaptable to change.
* Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity.
* Demonstrates sound work ethics.
