About the Role:
You'll work as part of a professional team providing accounting, tax, payroll, and advisory services to a diverse client base. Your role will be varied and hands-on, giving you the chance to develop your skills and advance your career.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare accounts and financial statements for sole traders and audit-exempt clients
2. Maintain books and records using accounting software
3. Assist with income tax and corporation tax returns
4. Prepare and submit VAT returns
5. Process payroll and liaise with clients
6. Support management in delivering excellent client service
What You'll Need:
7. Qualified Bookkeeper or relevant degree
8. Minimum 2 years' accounting practice experience
9. Strong knowledge of accounting standards
10. Proficient in MS Office and accounting/payroll software (Xero, Sage, BrightPay, Thesaurus, Surf)
11. Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
12. Self-motivated, proactive, and a team player with a keen interest in career growth
