Job Overview:
As a Visual Merchandiser with Murphy Home, you can help create the customer's first impression of one of Ireland's leading furniture retailers. We will rely on you, to not only implement company visual standards, but also add your own unique and innovative visual flair. Visual Merchandisers are an integral part of our success, giving us the ability to maintain our merchandising standards.
Use your unique and creative talents to design layouts of merchandise displays within our store. Make a positive difference by creating the customers' first impression of our store
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Create and maintain the visual presentation of the store by coordinating furniture and accessory placement in accordance with our standards, organize and implement floor moves
* Partner with the Store Manager and VM Manager to lead the flow of furniture and accessory products to the sales areas.
* Organizing, supervising, and checking the product in every section of the store
* Be creative, innovative, and imaginative through execution of Visual Merchandising
* Maintain and present visual displays in an influential manner
* Produce quality work in a consistent, timely, and organized manner
* Update/maintain store as directed by new product introduction and seasonal changes
* Adjust lighting as needed throughout showroom display
* Assist with special events and promotions
* Coordinate placement of new merchandise and conduct periodic physical inventories of furniture and accessories.
* Develop, create, and implement in-store displays and other store visuals.
* Coordinate with the Visual Merchandising Manager to produce creative and artistic in-store displays. Constantly conceptualize new and refresh store design ideas.
* Maintain an organized and welcoming store environment by creating an inviting and visually appealing environment for our customers.
* Install seasonal and promotional POS
* Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management
Qualifications:
* The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years visual merchandising experience or related qualification.
* Experience in interiors would be desirable.
* Suitable candidates should have the ability to work independently, have a strong work ethic, professional presentation, excellent communication skills, and solid customer service skills.
* Must have excellent listening and communication skills along with the ability to work independently and with a team.
* The role will be Monday to Friday but may involve occasional weekend work to meet the needs of the business.
