Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor – Cork – Consultancy – Hybrid
We are seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team and deliver high-quality cost management services across a variety of life science/pharma projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and strong preconstruction experience.
Responsibilities
* Provide accurate cost advice and detailed reporting to clients.
* Deliver projects, commissions, and professional assignments to a high standard.
* Take a leading role in setting objectives and priorities, acting as a proactive team member.
* Maintain effective communication to ensure information flow for the successful delivery of projects.
* Liaise with project managers to support efficient financial control.
* Undertake commercial management services with minimal supervision.
* Produce high-quality work outputs in an accurate and timely manner.
* Support team leaders with cost management responsibilities on projects.
* Represent the company in a professional manner when meeting, negotiating, and corresponding with clients to build and maintain strong relationships.
Requirements
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
* Strong preconstruction experience.
* Experience in public sector and/or private sector projects.
* Proficiency in CostX or similar software.
* Strong contract administration experience.
