About the role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our Dairy & Nutritional Ingredients division. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of sales experience in the food or beverage industry, or commodity business and a passion for the dairy sector.
Key responsibilities
* Sales process from A-Z: know product availability, define market price, propose and implement sales strategy, agree sales contracts and ensure orders are received in due time, ensure customer satisfaction.
* Customer Relationship Management: Develop, manage and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
* Product & Industry Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of the dairy industry, players, and our products portfolio.
* Market Analysis: Conduct regular market research to reflect on export/import data of any given dairy product category and to identify new sales opportunities while staying updated on industry trends.
* Reporting: Assist the sales director(s) in analysing and summarising key business elements; Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Qualifications and skills
* English is crucial, fluency in a second European language is required.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
* Strong ability to work well in a team and on your own.
* Positive and motivated self-starter with determination and drive to succeed.
* High emotional intelligence and adaptability to different personality types to get the best from internal and external relationships.
* Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel (pivot) & PowerPoint.
* Mobility and willingness to travel worldwide is a key requirement.
* Valid car driver's license.
