Job Opportunity: Lead a Team of Deli Professionals
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to oversee the deli department in Cork.
* About the Role:
* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of up to 15 deli staff to deliver exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
* Manage all aspects of deli operations including food preparation, merchandising, stock control, and hygiene standards.
* Drive sales and profitability through effective planning, upselling, and margin management strategies.
* Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP protocols, and company standards.
* Manage weekly rotas, training, and performance reviews to maintain a high-performing team.
* Analyse sales reports and identify opportunities to improve department performance and increase efficiency.
* Work closely with store management to deliver promotional activity and maintain strong brand standards.
* Maintain excellent visual presentation and ensure all products meet quality expectations.
Requirements:
* Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading teams and driving results.
* Operational Management: Strong understanding of food service operations, including inventory management, supply chain logistics, and waste reduction strategies.
* Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer experiences.
* Food Safety: Knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP protocols, and sanitation procedures.
* Analysis and Problem-Solving: Ability to analyse sales data, identify trends, and implement solutions to drive business growth.
