SPAR Express Bandon, Bandon, Co. Cork require a full time Experienced Chef to join their amazing food truck team.
Job Description.
* Line Cooking, fresh burgers, chicken, selection of fish and cooking chips to order.
* Greet customers with a positive attitude.
* Maintain required records including food production, inventory, income/expense.
* Responsible for product ordering and inventory control to ensure product availability.
* Follows all HACCP food service guidelines.
* Handle cash and balance sales
* Ensure food equipment is properly maintained (food truck) including coolers, ovens, fryers, prep tables and cookware. Ensures repairs are completed as necessary.
* Responds to customer preferences and complaints.
* Maintain the cleanliness of the food truck and ensure to follow proper sanitation procedures.
* Maintains gasoline and propane fill levels.
Job requirements
* Must be able to work varied hours including nights, multiple weekends, and holidays.
* Passionate about cooking with fresh local ingredients
* HACCP knowledge is essential.
* Be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* The ability to multitask under pressure
* Possess excellent customer service skills
* Have a flair for floor and have a desire to sell the products that they produce.
