Accommodation
Supervisor
to join our team. This is a hands-on supervisory role, ensuring the day-to-day housekeeping operations are delivered to the highest standards while providing exceptional guest service at all times.
The successful candidate will support the Accommodation Manager in maintaining hotel standards, supervising team members, and ensuring full compliance with quality, health & safety, and hygiene requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Quality
* Ensure all guests receive a warm, friendly and professional service at all times
* Anticipate guest needs and resolve queries or issues promptly and efficiently
* Maintain and enhance hotel quality standards and service promises
* Actively contribute to guest satisfaction scores and quality audits
Operational & Supervisory Duties
* Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms and public areas
* Ensure all rooms and areas are cleaned, checked and maintained to agreed standards
* Carry out daily room inspections and complete departmental checklists
* Support the training, coaching and induction of new team members
* Hold daily team briefings to ensure effective communication
Standards, Hygiene & Health & Safety
* Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, hygiene standards and health & safety regulations
* Report accidents, incidents or maintenance issues promptly
* Ensure equipment, trolleys and storage areas are clean, safe and well organised
* Promote safe working practices across the department
Teamwork & Flexibility
* Foster positive morale and teamwork within the department
* Work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
* Provide support to other hotel departments when necessary
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Senior Housekeeping Assistant (hotel environment essential)
* Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to motivate, train and support a team
* Strong knowledge of health & safety and hygiene standards
* Flexible, reliable and guest-focused
* Right to work in Ireland on a FULL TIME basis
