Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring patient health, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. This role is essential in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care during their treatment and recovery.
Responsibilities
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes in health status.
* Provide direct patient care, including wound care, vital signs monitoring, and assistance with daily living activities.
* Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans.
* Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
* Valid registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively assess patient needs.
* Proven experience in medication administration within a clinical setting.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning within the nursing field.
