About the Role
Oracle ERP Cloud Project Manager – responsible for leading Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM/EPM projects across the UK and Ireland, ensuring successful delivery, stakeholder engagement and transformation.
Responsibilities
* Successfully manage the delivery of Version 1’s Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM/EPM projects.
* Work with the customer to confirm scope, goals, objectives and business justification and secure resources (people and budget).
* Lead and oversee progress of project plans, ensuring alignment with time, cost and quality targets.
* Manage customer expectations, closely monitor and control scope creep.
* Ensure the agreed scope of the project is maintained, identifying and securing approval for change requests before work commences.
* Assist the customer project manager in monitoring tasks and progress of customer‑specific activities.
* Control and report progress to the Steering Group/Sponsor and internal senior stakeholders, escalating issues as necessary.
* Continually assess potential risks and issues.
* Monitor and communicate decisions made by the customer.
* Monitor and report on project budget, owning P&L targets against your projects.
* Lead an effective communication strategy for the project.
* Identify inter‑dependencies between stakeholder groups to ensure alignment and mitigate risks.
* Ensure appropriately skilled resources deliver the project, managing availability and performance of consultants.
* Travel to customer sites as required and permitted.
* Assist in pre‑sales and business development opportunities.
Qualifications
* Implementation experience of Oracle ERP Cloud projects end to end.
* Delivery and implementation experience working for a consultancy or systems integrator.
* Leading and delivering multiple projects concurrently.
* Project management experience delivering complex Oracle Applications projects using Oracle AIM and OUM methods.
* Prince 2 or similar certification.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
* Experience with fixed‑price/budget, commercial and customer management.
* Governance experience (gate control, status reporting).
* Scope management expertise.
* Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal) across all levels.
