Job Title: Site Manager - Residential Projects
We are seeking an experienced and skilled site manager to lead our dynamic residential construction team in Cork. As a site manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day site operations of residential developments, ensuring quality, health & safety compliance, and timely delivery in line with project specifications.
* Manage and supervise all site activities including setting out works on site.
* Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
* Implement and monitor site health & safety regulations and procedures.
* Interpret and review technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
* Carry out site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with design and regulations.
* Prepare site reports, progress updates, and documentation for stakeholders.
* Liaise with design engineers to resolve technical issues on site.
* Assist with setting out and surveying tasks as needed.
* Support site logistics and resource planning to optimize efficiency.
Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (Level 7).
* Minimum 2 years' experience working as a site manager, preferably in residential or mixed-use developments.
* Familiarity with Irish building regulations, standards, and Health & Safety legislation.
* Proficient with CAD/BIM software and MS Office applications.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, Aconex).
* Previous exposure to residential sites.
