As part of the Management Team, the Marketing Manager has overall authority for execution of the annual Marketing Plan and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing activities. The Marketing Manager is also responsible for the day to day management of the marketing team and budget. We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Marketer who is excited by challenge, is passionate about brand marketing, and loves being part of a creative marketing team.

Role and Responsibilities
Leadership:
* Closely work with the Retail Director to determine needs and coordinate marketing activities.
* Collaborate weekly with the E-commerce Manager to ensure all brand and offline activities integrate with online activity.
* Closely work with the Head of Sales (HoS) and Head of Retail (HoR) to ensure their marketing needs are being met on an ongoing basis to include review meetings every 2 weeks.
* Lead, motivate, and develop the Marketing team to deliver on the Marketing Plan and marketing activities.
* Protect and develop our brand across all markets.
* Build customer relationships at every opportunity.
* In conjunction with RD, set appropriate KPIs for the team and each team member.
* Manage vendor relationships effectively – evaluate vendors on a regular basis, provide clear briefs, and annual reviews of effectiveness.
Marketing Plan
* Responsible for the implementation of a results-focused Marketing Plan delivered within budget.
* Consult with the Retail Director to ensure the Marketing Plan is “on brand”.
* Carry out cost-benefit analysis on marketing initiatives.
* Communicate the Annual Marketing Plan to all stakeholders of the business.
* Create metrics reports (KPIs) on marketing activities and carry out reviews of past campaigns.
* Create a monthly report on progress against the plan and budget.
Marketing Team
* Lead and develop the Marketing team.
* Maintain effective internal communications within the marketing team and other departments to ensure all relevant people are kept informed of marketing objectives.
* Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with each team member to review goals, issues, and development needs.
* Monitor, review, and update the roles and activities of marketing team members to ensure effective team performance.
* Lead weekly marketing team meetings.
Marketing Activities
* Create and implement integrated marketing programs across platforms, including PR/communications, brand-enhancing activities, and above-the-line advertising campaigns.
* Plan and oversee all advertising and promotion activities across all GPG brands and territories.
* Work closely with all agencies with continual assessment of campaigns and effectiveness.
* Monitor and report on competitor marketing activities.
* Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* 3+ years of marketing experience in a management role.
* Experience managing external marketing agencies.
* Excellent written and communication skills.
* Ability to manage different projects at the same time.
* Good analytical skills, able to respond to results and research.
* Proven track record in a similar role.
