We're looking for a Food Outlet Manager who not only has strong leadership skills and a friendly, upbeat personality, but also solid experience as a senior pizza chef—someone who understands dough, quality, speed, and consistency at a high level.
Role Overview
In this hybrid role, you'll lead the team while also setting the standard for pizza quality and kitchen operations. You'll oversee daily shop management, guide the crew, and jump on the pizza line when needed to keep service running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and support the team to ensure smooth daily operations
* Maintain the highest standards of pizza quality, preparation, and consistency
* Train and mentor staff in pizza production, food quality, and kitchen processes
* Manage stock levels, ordering, prep systems, and waste to ensure cost control
* Ensure top-class customer service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere
* Oversee staff scheduling, training, performance standards, and kitchen organisation
* Collaborate with senior management on targets, menu development, and performance goals
Ideal Candidate
* Friendly, upbeat, and confident, with a customer-focused mindset
* Senior-level pizza chef experience (New York, Italian, or similar styles)
* At least 2 years' experience in a hospitality or food service management role
* Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
* Highly organised, efficient, and proactive—with a positive, hands-on approach
* Passion for high-quality casual dining, great pizza, and fast-paced food service
* Flexible and adaptable, thriving during busy rushes and high-volume service
