This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and can confidently oversee daily operations, staff, and customer service.
The Duty Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of shifts, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and compliance are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, restaurant, shop, and deli during assigned shifts.
Supervise and support staff, ensuring excellent service delivery and teamwork.
Handle opening and closing duties including cashing up, security checks, and venue readiness.
Ensure compliance with licensing, HACCP, and Health & Safety regulations.
Deal professionally with customer queries, feedback, and complaints.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure efficient service during peak periods.
Provide active cover during staff breaks and reassign duties as required to maintain service continuity across all areas of the complex.
Report incidents, maintenance issues, and key operational updates to the General Manager.
About You
Previous experience in a hospitality supervisory or management role essential.
Strong leadership and communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
Reliable, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of bar, floor, and food service operations.
Confident handling cash, stock, and staff scheduling.
Flexible availability, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Must have valid permission to work in Ireland.
