INFRASTRUCTURE DOCUMENTATION & CONTROLS MANAGER (CONTRACT) Location: Dublin 2 Contract: 12 months initially with view to extension Work Model: Hybrid Salary: Competitive ROLE OVERVIEWWe are seeking a highly organized and technically adept Infrastructure Documentation & Controls Manager to join our Infrastructure team in Dublin on a 12-month contract.
This role is pivotal in enhancing the quality, consistency, and accessibility of infrastructure documentation and controls across the organization.
You will collaborate closely with Infrastructure SMEs, IT Asset Management (ITAM), Technology Risk, and Audit teams to ensure documentation is accurate, audit-ready, and aligned with governance standards.
By leveraging tools such as Confluence, Service Now, SCCM, and VMware v Sphere, you will empower teams with independent access to infrastructure data, reducing operational overhead and improving cross-functional efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*Assess and improve the current infrastructure documentation library.*Develop and enforce documentation standards, templates, version control, and governance processes.*Serve as a key liaison between Infrastructure, ITAM, Technology Risk, and Audit teams.*Independently gather and analyze infrastructure data using Service Now, SCCM, VMware v Sphere, and Active Directory.*Ensure documentation aligns with CMDB standards and supports audit-readiness.*Maintain and enhance Confluence-based documentation repositories.*Identify and implement opportunities to streamline documentation workflows.*Support infrastructure-related controls and compliance initiatives.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE*Proven experience in an Infrastructure department within a large enterprise environment.*Strong understanding of infrastructure documentation, controls, and compliance frameworks.*Proficiency with: Confluence (documentation management)Service Now (CMDB and asset data)SCCM, VMware v Sphere, Active Directory (data gathering and reporting)*Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.*Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.*Ability to translate complex technical data into clear, actionable documentation.*Self-motivated and capable of working independently.*Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO, NIST, or GDPR.*Experience supporting audit and risk management processes.*Exposure to Power BI or similar tools for reporting and analysis.
