We have a fantastic opportunity for a Food and Beverage/Banqueting Supervisor to join our team here at the Tower Hotel, Waterford, part of the Neville Hotel Group.
The role
As Food & Beverage/Banqueting Supervisor, you will oversee daily service and event operations, supporting the management team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will ensure high standards of service, communication with team members, and compliance with health, safety, and service procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum of 1 year's supervisory experience in a busy food & beverage or banqueting environment.
Proven ability to supervise, train, and motivate a team to deliver excellent service standards.
Strong knowledge of food & beverage service procedures, including wine and beverage service.
Experience in banqueting operations, including set-up, service, and close-down of events.
Ensure high standards of hygiene, health & safety, and HACCP compliance are consistently maintained.
Capable of coordinating with kitchen and events teams to ensure smooth service delivery.Standards-driven with excellent attention to detail in presentation and guest experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal confidently with guests, clients, and staff.
Flexible, enthusiastic, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing event requirements.
