Position Summary
Engineer II – Galway, Ireland.
The successful candidate will perform complex technical work such as the design, manufacture and operation of structures, machines and systems under broad supervision and guidelines.
Primary Responsibilities
Independently evaluate, select and apply standard technical techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications.
Identify and implement process improvements to address process efficiency and mistake proofing.
Investigate a moderate number of technical variables in completing assignments that have clear and defined objectives.
Execute work involving conventional plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment with few complex features.
Work independently on standard projects; assist with unusual problems.
Supervise the work of engineers/technicians or others on specific assignments and collaborate with other engineers.
Work on special projects, write ECN's, and create prototypes under broad direction.
Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
Three years of related experience.
Analytical and scientific technical problem-solving skills.
Proficient computer skills – spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and ability to work effectively as a team member.
Experience with IQ/OQ/PQ and Lean / Six-Sigma advantageous.
