Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Environmental Assistant based in Clarecastle, Ennis. The Environmental Assistant will report to the Environmental Manager and support daily operations in environmental services. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, monitoring of air, noise, water and waste as well as auditing and maintaining records. Collaboration with internal teams, advising and supporting subcontractors to manage on site environmental constraints.
Qualifications
* Knowledge and experience in Environmental Services.
* Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
* Understanding of Hazardous Waste Management and compliance with environmental regulations.
* Organisational and problem-solving skills to handle tasks efficiently and proactively.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in environmental sciences, engineering, or related fields are advantageous.
* Experience of working on an active site.
* QGIS experience.
