Job Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Offboarding Expertise: Take full responsibility for the Onboarding and Offboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience for employees and hiring managers.
Research and Development: Assist in and conduct research for other onboarding initiatives, using data to inform the structure and building of additional induction resources.
Communication: Communicate onboarding progress to hiring managers and key stakeholders, offering solutions for onboarding issues and adopting a continuous improvement approach.
Legislation Knowledge: Maintain superior working knowledge of current onboarding and offboarding legislation and employer responsibilities, informing management of changes needed before they arise.
Process Monitoring: Monitor the onboarding process to ensure it is positive for employees and hiring managers, ensuring all new hires are set up from HR systems and processed by payroll in a timely manner.
Leavers Management: Full responsibility for removing leavers from HR systems and processed by payroll in a timely manner, ensuring a positive offboarding experience for employees.
Liaising with Vendors: Liaise with vendors to ensure employees (leavers) are removed from their listings.
Improvement Initiatives: Communicate offboarding progress to managers and key stakeholders, offering solutions for offboarding issues and adopting a continuous improvement approach.
Project Management: Manage relevant ad hoc projects, ensuring that BAU activity is managed simultaneously.
Policies and Procedures: Assist in creating and revising HR policies to ensure they are consonant with the latest regulations. This includes revising and introducing onboarding and offboarding policies to support employees.
HRIS System Embedding: Assist with embedding our new HRIS system in the business, becoming a super user to support employees.
Ticket Management: Answer general queries on the HR Helpdesk phone line or via the HR People Services mailbox in a professional and prompt manner.
Experience and Qualifications Required
2-3 years experience in a similar role
Experience in policy creation
Advanced Excel skills for reporting on metrics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working in a busy department with multiple responsibilities
Genuine desire to resolve employee issues in a professional and timely manner
